Bridging Real Estate, Investment, and Community Revitalization with an MBA in Finance and Program Management focused solely on real estate development, I’ve built a career understanding every angle of the business—from operations to financing. My 16 years as Regional Director of Land Redevelopment at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency gave me firsthand experience in sustainable development, historic preservation, and large-scale project funding. I’ve worked at the intersection of city planning, investment, and community impact, ensuring that development is both profitable and beneficial to those who call these neighborhoods home.

Through my company, Revitalized Communities, I specialize in facilitating partnerships between cities, developers, and community members so that projects align with real needs. I also work with local governments to empower community groups with the knowledge and resources to actively participate in redevelopment decisions. Introducing RC Funding – Expanding Investment with Private Lending As part of my mission to create smart, impactful real estate opportunities, I’ve added a private lending division to Revitalized Communities —RC Funding.

This new addition provides real estate investors with the capital they need to successfully fund fix-and-flips, long-term rentals, and ground-up construction projects. Having spent years structuring deals and navigating the funding process myself, I understand the importance of having reliable financing that works for the investor—not against them.

I have a real passion for Historic Redevelopment and Smart Design. When I’m not funding projects, you’ll find me redesigning older structures, merging modern trends with their historic character. As a professional interior designer, I love breathing new life into buildings, preserving their charm while ensuring they meet today’s needs.

I also share my passion for critical thinking and problem-solving as a Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago’s School of Public Health. Traveling fuels my creativity, especially when I visit European cities rich in history and architecture. Seeing the way old-world structures blend with modern innovation only reinforces my belief that development should honor both the past and the future.
